Petit Enfant
Petit Enfant operates 5 settings across the South West of England. Established in 2002 our aim is to provide high quality childcare in a safe stimulating environment enabling the children to play, discover and learn.

Outstanding Care & Education
We are committed to ensuring the health, wellbeing, and development of every child in our care. We understand the needs of each individual child from babies reaching their first milestones to our children who are going on to school. We have a committed and well qualified team to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, supporting the children to learn through play.

As a company we know that our most important assets are our staff. We seek to find the best practitioners, ensuring they are knowledgeable, experienced and well qualified. Staff receive ongoing training, development reviews and support to make sure that the children in our care have their needs meet at every level by those caring for them.

Key Person Approach
At Petit Enfant our staff pride themselves in taking the time to ensure that they get to know your child and your family. We make sure that we understand the important things about each individual child, such as their favorite stories, what activities they enjoy, and when they need a cuddle.
The partnership with your child’s Key Person begins prior to your child starting in the setting. Our unique settling in visits allow your child and family to get to know the staff caring for them and to start building a special relationship with the Key Person. Children are able to choose their own Key person when they begin their settling in visits.
At the settling in visits the staff will discuss your Child’s individual needs and answer any questions you have. The Key Person jointly co-ordinates your child’s care and requirements by taking time with you to share ideas, talk about your Child’s progress and reflect back your Child’s day at the setting.
